After consultations with local leadership towards a resolution to the sewage spillage problem in sections of Huhudi, Gwede Mantashe, ANC Chairperson later , yesterday, 14 April , reverted to one of the sections where plumbers where working to solve the issue to inspect.

This particular video depicts plumbers working on what seems to be a blocked pipe . “Earlier today, we visited Huhudi village in Vryburg. We insisted, as reported by @eNCA’s @TheMikeAppel, that we will not leave until sewer spillage is addressed. Watch the video for the update. Spillage has stopped. Here Mantashe is addressing the plumbers and Supervisor working on the sewage spillage . “We can’t allow sewer spillage to continue for a long time. That is the worse thing to do to our people.” Mantashe said in a tweet
