The 2024 Mahika Mahikeng Cultural Music Festival Jazz Explosion lit up the Mmabatho Stadium on Sunday, 8 December, delivering a spectacular celebration of South Africa’s diverse musical talents. The lineup was a vibrant mix of legendary and contemporary artists, all of whom brought their A-game to the stage. Leading the charge was Afro-soul sensation Lira, who made an emotional return to the Mahikeng stage following her recovery from a stroke. Her powerful vocals, coupled with her electrifying energy, brought the crowd to its feet.
