Gwede Mantashe commits not to leave Vryburg until Sewage Spillage issue is resolved

Today, 14 April, Gwede Mantashe, ANC National Chairperson spent the day in Vryburg, in the Dr Ruth Segomutsi Mompati District, in the North West Province. Mantashe was on a campaigning trail for his party ahead of the upcoming national election. Mantashe’s day was spent with a visit to a local church, a visit ward 9 where there has been reports of a sewage spillage and water contamination in ward 9 , door to door campaign long , as well as public meeting in an open area in Huhudi.

On Mantashe’s arrival at ward 9 , he was met by members of the community with multiple and mix feelings. At the heart of this bittersweet welcome, was the cries of unemployment, lack of clean drinking water , and a well maintained sewage system.

Mantashe vowed not to leave Vryburg until a resolution was reached with regards to certain raised issued that were raised. He has committed to series of meetings with local leadership to find proactive solutions for immediate implementation.

The National Chairperson was accompanied by Premier Mokgoro and Provincial coordinator Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane. This delegation was , yesterday, Saturday, 13 April, also in Ganyesa , also in the Dr Ruth Segomutsi Mompati District.
