Loadshedding rears it’s ugly head again for the first time in 2022; with an announcement by the power utility, Eskom on Wednesday, 02 February 2022. According to eskom, the loadshedding is due to a shortage of generation capacity following breakdowns of two more generating units and is said to go on until Monday, 07 February 2022. Stage 2 of rolling blackouts has, in this regard, been implemented.

Vryburg residents can expect to be without electricity on Friday, 04 February 2022, Morning between 10h00 and 12h30. The Vryburg Independent Post (The V.I.P) Team has below pictured the Schedule for the next couple days, anticipating that the announced Stage 2 Loadshedding remains stable.
