The North West Provincial Office of the Premier has, on Tuesday, 07 July 2020, confirmed that The MEC for Public Works and Roads, Mr Saliva Molapisi, has also tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

MEC Molapisi is said to be in self-isolation.Be that as it may, Molapisi actively participated in the virtual Special EXCO meeting, held on the day. Details of MEC Molapisi’ positive Covid-19 status were disclosed in a statement issued by The North West Provincial Office of the Premier, alongside news regarding the Premier’s status.

The two officials were announced to have contracted the virus a day after the untimely passing of their colleague and MEC, Gordon Kegakilwe, who passed away on Monday, 06 July 2020, due COVID19 related complications.
