
An economic hub of the town, a street that is always a buzz at this time of the year as we would normally be approaching the busy Easter period, is locked down. There were a few cars roaming Market Street, and here and there one would see essential workers who would either be on a lunch break or knocking off. 90% of all the shop in Market Street are closed, leaving in most instances the petrol outlets on that street open.
This goes to show that some kind of compliance is possible to the regulatory frame work that has been put in place in the fight against the Nobel Coronavirus. It is this kind of compliance that is needed in households as well.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has urged government and society at large to build on the tremendous impetus provided by the need to respond to the coronavirus pandemic to rethink how governments, businesses and communities function and relate to each other. “The coronavirus changes everything,” President Ramaphosa said.
