Large hail and heavy rain has been the order of the day in Vryburg and other close by areas.

There has been reports of dense moisture and a high expectancy of heavy rain moving across the North West Province and the Free State moving South East toward KwaZulu Natal.

Localized flooding has been reported in areas surrounding Vryburg, including Taung.

According to reports by the SA Weather Services , this weather is due to the Cut-Off Low system that is moving eastward of the country. These conditions are expected to exit the country from the East Coast of the Eastern Cape on Thursday, 25 April 2019.
