The SAPS Pudumoe ,in the North West Province, have apprehended a 16 year old suspect for Murder and Business Robbery on Tuesday, 12 March 2019, after a 25-year-old victim was found dead inside his shop.

According to information in The VIP Team’s possession, the suspect’s apprehension came after he was seen running out of the victim’s shop by members of the community at Moretele village outside Pudimoe.

“Upon investigation by the members of the community, they found the victim lying on the floor with several stab wounds. The victim was later declared dead on the scene by Emergency and Rescue Services (EMRS). The matter was reported to the police who worked hard to track and arrest the suspect on Wednesday, 13 March 2019.” Explained Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Amanda Funani,

Lieutenant Funani confirmed to us that the suspect is expected to appear in the Taung Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 15 March 2019.
