Tebogo Motswedisi (21) and Archie Bolt (35) will re-appear before the Ganyesa Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 18 March 2019. The were in court this past Friday, for their first appearance, following community protests that were reported since Monday, 4 March 2019, reaching a peak on Wednesday, 6 March 2018, where the Tosca-Vryburg and Morokweng-Vryburg roads were barricaded and vehicles thrown with stones.

Based on the information to our disposal, provided by the SAPS in the North West Province, Tebogo Motswedisi was arrested and charged with malicious damage to property as well as robbery and being in possession of an suspected stolen firearm. While Archie Bolt was charged with public violence. According to spokesperson of the Police, Colonel Adéle Myburgh, the two men were granted R1000.00 bail each.
