Premier of the North West Professor Jon Mokgoro was also in attendance at the inaugural TEDx Mahikeng. Mokgoro graced attendees with a with a warm brief welcoming address. He also pledged his support for the event as well as the dialogs they provoke.

The Premier urged for such dialogs to continue and grow. He also challenged the Vice Chancellor of The North West University Professor Dan Kgwadi to continue what the organizers of TEDx Mahikeng have initiated and contribute greatly in its growth to a point where it can be recognized as not only a Mahikeng event , but go beyond that …
