Police in Kanana are searching for unknown suspects who allegedly killed three victims at Chris Hani section in Kanana near Klerksdorp. According to the information that we have at this stage, the victims were socialising  at a certain house on  Friday, 13 September 2019  when the incident occurred. Police who were on patrol heard gun shots and went to investigate. On arrival at the scene police found two men with gunshots lying down in a pool of blood. Furthermore,  the third suspect who was trying to escape was found lying outside the house also with  gunshot wound.

“The three suspects who are between the ages of 25 and 30 were discovered with chest wounds and died at the scene. Police have opened three counts of murder and no arrests have been made at this stage. The motive for the shootings is still unknown and the Police are appealing to anyone who can assist with the information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects to phone Sergeant Ignus van Heerden  of Kanana Police Station at 018 476 1115.” Said Police Spokesperson Colonel Amanda Funani.
