4 new cases of the novel Coronavirus have been confirmed in the North West Province. This is according to the statistics released by the Minister of Health Dr. Zweli Mkhize, in Wednesday, 08 April 2020. There has still been no deaths reported in the North West Province, but the death toll in the country continues to rise, totaling 18 to date.

Bojanala Platinum District continues to be the epicenter in the province, now with 9 confirmed cases. New cases were reported in Mafikeng and Klerksdorp. The Dr. Ruth Segomutsi Mompati District currently has the lowest number of reported COVID19 cases.

The number of positive confirmed cases nationwide is 1845 and this is from 63 776 people tested.
