Disebo Rantsho celebrated her 30th Birthday, on Monday, 29 March 2021, by lending a helping to those in need. Rantsho donated 30 toiletry packages to girls at Modisakoma Primary School, in Dithakwaneng, not far from Vryburg, in the North West Province. The donated packages included sanitary pads, toothpaste, roll on , soap, lotion, etc.

According to UNICEF, many girls and women have limited options for affordable menstrual materials. Therefore, the selfless nature by Rantsho was undoubtedly welcome with open hands by the school. Dithakwaneng is a small village community that has the largely populated by disadvantaged community members. UNICEF also states that globally, 2.3 billion people lack basic sanitation services and in Least Developed Countries only 27 per cent of the population has a handwashing facility with water and soap at home.

Rantsho is a mother herself, and this sacrifice beyond the needs of her own family is commendable. She is also an entrepreneur. Rantsho owns ,Rantsho Events Holdings, a company, situated in Dithakwaneng Village. “Just a simple thank you really warms my heart. I really love people who appreciate the good that’s being done unto them and you will always find that in kids there smiles just melts my heart honestly.” Confessed Rantsho.

“Honestly it’s something I’ve been longing to do… I wanted to be part of the many people who make a difference in people’s lives. I’ve been looking for a way to just give back in a different way though, so I thought to myself this is it.” Explained Rantsho. The 30 year old says she was inspired by an ex colleague of hers who did something similar before. From that inspiration, Rantsho made it her mission to work on making several girl children feel happy and protected, even if it’s just for one month, She believes that this is the start of something new and big in her life. Rantsho told The VIP Team that she has an urge to carry out similar initiatives monthly.
