Vryburg – Excitement and pride fill the air as Tiger Kloof sends its delegation of young leaders and teachers to represent South Africa at the 2025 Round Square International Conference (RSIC), taking place in Dubai, UAE, from 19–25 September 2025.

This annual gathering brings together more than 250 schools from 50 countries across six continents, all connected by a shared commitment to global citizenship, character development, and transformative education. The conference theme spans six core ideals: Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service.

For the Tiger Kloof delegation, the experience goes beyond simply attending a conference. It is a life-changing opportunity to engage with peers from diverse cultural backgrounds, debate pressing global issues, and develop friendships that transcend borders. Students will be challenged to step boldly out of their comfort zones, embrace fresh perspectives, and carry with them the spirit of Tiger Kloof wherever they go.

The school expressed heartfelt wishes for the group’s safe travels and urged them to make the most of every conversation, every activity, and every new friendship they form during their stay in Dubai.

The Round Square network, known for fostering international understanding, equips students aged 16–18 with the skills to thrive in a rapidly changing world. By connecting with delegates from Africa, the Americas, Europe, Asia, Australasia, and the Gulf, Tiger Kloof learners will showcase not only their talents and values, but also the resilience and spirit of Vryburg’s own youth.

As the delegates board their flight to Dubai, the message from home is clear: embrace this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, learn, grow, and bring back knowledge and inspiration that will strengthen both school and community.
