The proposed agenda for today’s meeting has been tableted by representatives on the Concerned Community of Vryburg’s online platform.
Community members on the platform have been encouraged to invite those not on the platform as well as those on. The meeting will be held today, Friday, 21 December 2018. See details below:
It is what seems like a well thought out agenda with key conversation starters. No surprise, as this agenda was brewed from the bubbling conversations that have been tabled on the online platform, and recently by a call to venture on a more proactive activation of the conversation. The call encourages the community to learn more about the problem, to talk more about it to one another, and to propose solutions and debate their possibilities.
A door to door campaign and foot trafficking was probed by one of the facilitators on the online platform, Gaoretelelwe Molebalwa. ”do a door to door where you stay, please do it until you find one family that says “We have already heard” and come share your experience by commenting here.I will be doing the same.”
Molebalwa further has went on to reiterate the rules that are proposed to keep order in the conversation:
1. We are not a political party
2. We are not going to form a political party
3. We will not contest elections
4. We will not participate in any political groupings wars
5. We are not about blaming anyone
6. We subscribe to no political ideology
7. ALL WE WANT IS WATER
Remember, the future of our town is on our hands.
