Phenyo Sebetlele has been crowned Miss North West Exclusive 2025 during a private crowning hosted at the Oryx Boutique Hotel, organisers announced on their official platforms on Tuesday.

Images from the event show Sebetlele receiving the sash and crown from outgoing queen Buhle Tshoniswa, before posing with a bouquet in a vibrant lime-green evening gown. In messages shared with the photographs, organisers praised the new queen’s perseverance and spirit, describing her as an example of dedication and resilience.

The page’s posts also congratulated fellow finalist Molebogeng Ditlhong, who was acknowledged on stage during the handover.

The intimate ceremony follows last week’s announcement that the Miss North West Exclusive 2025 pageant finale—initially scheduled for 30 August at the Rio Convention Centre, Klerksdorp—was cancelled due to “unforeseen challenges, including participant withdrawals.” Organisers said at the time that a smaller crowning would still take place and be shared on social media, with ticket refunds available to those who had purchased seats for the original finale.

While the organisation has not yet outlined the full calendar for the reigning year, the page’s messages framed Sebetlele’s tenure as one focused on hope, service and community upliftment. Further details about her advocacy theme and engagements are expected from the organisers.
