Nka Modira FC played their first-ever ABC Motsepe League home match on Saturday, 18 October 2025, and rose to the occasion with a hard-earned 1–1 draw against the North-West University (NWU) Soccer Institute at Huhudi Turf in Vryburg.

In front of an appreciative local crowd, the newly promoted “Bafana ba Style” matched the seasoned Varsity Football campaigners stride for stride. NWU opened the scoring, but the hosts hit back to level and hold on for a valuable point in their maiden home outing at this level. The club later praised the team’s effort, noting there’s “one point on the board” and work to be done before the next fixtures.

The result leaves Nka Modira unbeaten at home after one, and—perhaps more importantly—signals that the Vryburg side can compete in Stream B against some of the province’s most established outfits.
