Huhudi Police Station Closed due to a COVID-19 Positive Case… AGAIN.

Huhudi’s SAPS Station is, on Sunday, 03 January 2021, closed. According to unconfirmed reports, this is because of a COVID19 positive case that was detected at the police station.

This is not the first time that the station had to be closed in this regard. On the 6th of August 2020, Huhudi Police Station had to be closed for couple of days. This as fumigation and deep clean had to take place after a coronavirus positive case was announced.

According to unconfirmed reports, one positive was detected at the station. The institution was today being deep cleaned and fumigated. It is however expected that it will open again to the public late on Monday, 04 January 2020.

Efforts have been made by the station to disseminate the information regarding the closure on social media and by word of month. The Vryburg Police Station remains open and continues to serve the entire community over night.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) in the North West Province is yet to confirm this information.
