EDITORIAL: The Government doing away with Z83 form and going Paperless

The ANC aims to make a few changes the compulsory paper form Z83 as the only required method of applying for a job in a public institution. The Idea here is to go paperless , electronic if you like.

The assumption here is that a lot of ground as far as the large number of unemployment in South Africa , as reported by Stats SA recently. With that being said , Stats SA has simultaneously also released stats proving a rise ,in the last quarter, in the public sector’s employment percentage. One would ask, is this a true reflection of the numbers ? And , how much of the number are a true reflection of what is known to be a large number of temporary employment offered by the public sector?

In our young growing technological Democracy, it is most important that one recognizes the opportunity possessed by the governing party, and make the an attempt to take advantage of it. Essentially, it is important to know the importance accruing information to add enforcement to what will be an informed application.
