The panelists were given a opportunity to address the gathered young people and to probe for engagements.

According to Executive Mayor, Cllr. Maje, Vuselela TVET College Campus can be referred to as an Orphan, amongst the TVET College’s other Campuses . Cllr. Maje drove this point home in an effort to emphasize how under resourced this wing of the institute really is. He subsequently made a point to note that it is not only the institution that is to blame but all the stakeholders involved.

In his address to the symposium the Executive Mayor continued to eco the call by most of the panelists for a need of a fully fledged TVET College in the Dr. RSM District. “We can’t be a District that is relegated to the provision of Government services only. We expect our TVET Colleges to provide the necessary tools that will make it possible for us to achieve greater heights” Challenged the Executive Mayor.
The Executive Mayor’s call was for Improvement, instead of Change.
