Vryburg, 26 August 2025 — A 34-year-old man died in the early hours of Tuesday after being found with injuries in the roadway at the corner of Chrish Naidoo Street and the N18 in Huhudi.

According to Warrant Officer Tryphosa van Rooyen, emergency medical personnel certified the man dead on the scene. The Huhudi SAPS has opened a case of culpable homicide and an investigation is under way.

Police have not released the victim’s name pending formal processes. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dash-cam footage from the area around midnight is asked to contact Sergeant Buti Plaatjie on 082 416 1093.
