VRYBURG – Motorists are advised that a section of Market Street (N14) in the Vryburg CBD is temporarily and partially closed from Thursday, 9 July 2026, until further notice due to ongoing roadworks.

According to the traffic advisory, the affected section stretches from the corner of Church Street to the corner of De Kock Street, and will be closed to all traffic while work is underway.

Road closure signage and detour routes have been put in place, and motorists are urged to follow the temporary traffic arrangements to ensure their safety and avoid delays.

The closure is expected to affect access through one of Vryburg’s busiest commercial areas, with businesses including banks, retail stores and restaurants located along the affected route.

Road users are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance, allow extra travel time and exercise caution when travelling near the construction zone.

The road will remain closed until further notice, with updates expected as the roadworks progress.
