Magalies Water addresses water supply interruptions due to planned maintenance on Taung – Vryburg Bulk Pipeline.

Pudimoe, Tuesday, 18th July 2023- Magalies Water has issued an urgent notice to inform customers receiving water supply from the Pudimoe Water Treatment Plant in the Naledi Local Municipality about an upcoming planned maintenance on the Taung – Vryburg Bulk Pipeline. The maintenance work is essential to address detected leaks on the bulk water pipeline and mitigate water losses in the area.

The planned maintenance work is scheduled for 20th July 2023, and it will take place from 06:00 am to 06:00 pm. During this period, customers in the affected area may experience water supply interruptions. To minimize the impact of these interruptions, customers are strongly encouraged to use water sparingly and responsibly.

Magalies Water acknowledges that the planned maintenance may cause inconvenience to customers, but it is a necessary step to ensure the long-term stability and efficiency of the water supply system.
