VRYBURG/DELAREYVILLE — A man has died and six other people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on the N14 between Delareyville and Vryburg on Friday evening, 12 December 2025.

According to information provided to The VIP Team, the accident happened about 2.5km from Mam’s Garage on the N14. A 51-year-old male succumbed at the scene, while two drivers and four passengers were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment.

Emergency services from multiple agencies responded, including SAPS, EMS, Provincial Traffic and the Fire Department.

Motorists experienced disruption at the time of the incident, however authorities confirmed that the road was cleared after the accident and is now accessible.

Road users travelling the busy Delareyville–Vryburg route have been urged to drive with caution, particularly in poor weather.

“All motorists are requested to be vigilant and considerate when driving, especially when it is overcast or raining,” the advisory said.
