Vryburg — 26 October 2025: Two cousins from Danielskuil who were reported missing last week were found unharmed in Vryburg on Sunday and have been reunited with their families, police said.

Danielskuil SAPS confirmed that Angelique Kelebogile Malgas (13) and Cathrihanna Dorika Moeng (14), both from the Maranteng informal settlement, were located in Vryburg following a police search. The girls were reported missing on Wednesday, 22 October, though investigations show they had been last seen on Saturday, 18 October.

Police did not disclose further details about how the teens reached Vryburg or where they were found, but said both were safe.

SAPS urged residents in the Vryburg area and across the province to report missing persons immediately. “There is no waiting period to report a person missing,” said Sgt. Molefi Shemane.
