
The Vryburg based A.J. Wookey Youth Fellowship attended its annual United Congregation Youth North West Regional Camp, from Thursday, 30 March 2023 until, Sunday the 2nd of April, and took part in most of the activity that were programmed for the weekend. The Camp, held in Disaneng, a village near Mahikeng, brought together young congregants from all over the North West Province to share and spread the word of God, part take in engaging social discussions with expects, and a Music , Sport, and Arts Showcasing.

The Vryburg Independent Post Team (The VIP Team) has it on good authority that the Youth fellowship, under the A.J. Memorial Local Church banner as led by Rev. G.V. Keagile, were at the end of the camp awarded as the Overall Best Participants at this year’s instalment of the prestigious camp. In a brief discussion with The VIP Team, A.J. Wookey Youth Fellowship Chairperson Marang Montwedi could hide her excitement and gratitude as she said “We would like to thank the Great Lord Jesus who led us to such great victory. A special thanks to all the parents and the church for all the support through out our preparations.”
