To preserve the emergency generation reserves, eskom has resorted to implement Stage 2 loadshedding to now start at 08:00 until 22:00 both on Saturday and Sunday.

This is a change from their initial announcement that could have afforded Vryburg residents a Loadshedding free weekend. Loadshedding is back, and on Saturday, 21 May 2022, residents in the Vryburg area can expect Stage 2 blackout during the morning peak. See below schedule:
