STELLA/VRYBURG — A man who was reported missing earlier this month, Mojaki Stoun (61) of Marst Street in Stella, has been found dead.

A family member confirmed to The Vryburg Independent Post that Stoun’s body was discovered along the Gedeelspan road. The family is now awaiting a forensic report that will determine the cause of death.

Police had previously appealed to the public for assistance after Stoun was last seen on Tuesday, 9 December 2025, when he left home to go to a farm and did not return.

Funeral arrangements are under way, with the family confirming that Stoun will be laid to rest in Stella, on Wednesday, 31 December 2025
