In a strategic move to galvanize its campaign efforts and solidify its position in the political arena, the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK Party) recently announced significant leadership changes within its ranks. The National Executive Committee’s decisions, made during a meeting on March 26, 2024, underscore the party’s commitment to effective leadership and organizational cohesion as it gears up for the upcoming elections.

At the forefront of these changes is the appointment of key figures to crucial roles within the National Leadership Core. Cde Sihle Ngubane assumes the role of Secretary General, bringing with him a wealth of experience and strategic insight to steer the party’s administrative functions. Joining him is Cde Arthur Zwane, appointed as Deputy Secretary General, adding further depth to the leadership team.

In the financial realm, the party welcomes Cde Danisa Zulu as the new Treasurer General, entrusted with overseeing the financial stewardship of the party’s resources. Complementing these appointments is Cde Nkosinathi Nhleko, taking on the role of National Organiser, tasked with mobilizing grassroots support and coordinating organizational efforts on the ground.

According to the Party, these appointments reflect a deliberate effort by the MK Party to strengthen its campaigning machinery and operational efficiency. Cde Muzi Ntshingila, as National Head of Elections, leads the charge in election-related initiatives. Adv Mashudu Tshivhase, in the Legal Advisory role, provides invaluable legal guidance and expertise to the party.
