Vryburg – A disturbing hit-and-run incident occurred late on Sunday night in Huhudi, as a reckless and speeding Mini Cooper driver struck a young boy and callously left the scene without rendering aid.

Reports from Huhudi residents indicate that the Mini Cooper was seen speeding towards the Ext25/28 direction, and tragically collided with a young boy. Shockingly, instead of stopping to assist the injured child, the driver fled the scene.

The community, outraged by the reckless behavior and apparent lack of empathy, took matters into their own hands. Members of the community tracked down the Mini Cooper and its driver. Videos circulating online show community members entering the suspect’s yard, demanding answers and justice for the hit-and-run incident.

While community members continue to worry about the well being of the young boy, the White Mini Cooper Driver is now in police custody. This following the arrival of the police and ambulances a few hours later.
