VRYBURG — Velile “Svela” Maleke, who was reported missing and kidnapped earlier this week, has been found and is now with the Vryburg South African Police Service (SAPS), and will shortly be reunited with his family.

A community leader confirmed the update in a social media post, thanking community members for their support and prayers during the search.

No further details were provided about where or how Velile was found. The family has also not released additional information at this stage.

The Vryburg Independent Post will update the story should SAPS or the family issue an official statement.
