Huhudi, Vryburg — Police have opened an inquest after the body of a man was discovered in a state of decomposition in Isaac Peloeng Street, Huhudi.

Confirming the incident, Warrant Officer Van Rooyen from the SAPS Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Communication said officers arrived at the scene and found the body of an unidentified male, estimated to be between 20 and 30 years old. “The matter is under investigation and no arrests have been made,” he said.

The exact cause of death will be determined through further investigation and forensic examination. Police have appealed to families with missing relatives fitting the description to come forward.
