The program is aimed at taking Legislature to the people to strengthen oversight and public participation and to promote accountability and transparency in government.

During the program, Members of the Legislature are expected to interact with different provincial departments and their MECs; Mayors, members of the Municipal Public Accounts Committees, ward committees, traditional authorities, farmers and their respective organisations, organised structures and members of the public on issues affecting them.

There will be a public meeting that will be held at Mmadinonyane Community Hall in Kagisano – Molopo Local Municipality on Thursday, 22 August 2019 at 15h00.

Meanwhile, on Friday, 23 August 2019, The NWPL will conduct a Committee Oversight meeting at the Naledi Local Municipality. This meeting is expected to address the AG audit report for 2017/2018 financial year as well as issues on Economic Development, Environment, Rural and Agricultural Development.
