North West Province Premier, Job Mokgoro, today, 28 May 2018, announced his new provincial cabinet. Even though there are a lot of familiar faces from the recent administration, one thing that stands out from Mokgoro’s cabinet is the large number of female representation.

Mokgoro has been recently hailed by many for the suggested stability that was brought by his premiership, alongside the guidance of the nationally deployed administration in the province. The Premier’s cabinet consists of a 60% representation of female MECs.

Be that as it may, this does not come as a surprise, as Mokgoro’s recent cabinet also had a similar kind of representation, and this speaks volumes about his constancy posture.
