The Murder of Katlego Gristiph Lesagae (18) reportedly occurred this morning, Friday, 17 January 2020, at about 06:30, outside a Secondary School in Atamelang. Lesagae allegedly had just exited a school bus, outside the school premises, when he was approached by the suspect, a 17-year-old, who stabbed him. He was rushed to a local clinic, where he was certified dead on arrival.

“Moreover police managed to trace the suspect and arrested her shortly after the incident. The 17-year-old minor will be processed in terms of the Child Justice Act (act no 75 of 2008) and her first court appearance for the alleged murder will be in the Atamelang Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 21 January 2020.” reported North West Province Police Spokesperson Colonel Adéle Myburgh.
