HUHUDI — Morning Star Academy has, on Friday, 13 February 2026, announced the appointment of Mr Barry Fuleni as its new principal, describing the move as part of a broader effort to strengthen academic performance and improve service delivery to the Naledi Municipality community.

In a press release issued by school management, the academy said it is embarking on a “rigorous programme” aimed at improving academic results and overall qualitative output, in line with its mission to promote academic excellence, character formation and community impact.

According to the statement, Mr Fuleni brings extensive experience in the education sector, having previously served in school leadership and academic administration roles. His past positions include leadership at Vryburg High School and serving as a circuit manager in Mamusa, Schweizer-Reneke, where he is credited with contributing to academic improvement and institutional growth.

According to Mr Fuleni, he’s has been appoint by this independent school, contractually for a period of 1 year. Morning Star Academy expressed confidence that Fuleni’s experience, leadership skills and passion for education will strengthen the school’s commitment to academic excellence, discipline and holistic learner development.

The school has called on parents and stakeholders to offer their support and cooperation as Mr Fuleni assumes his new role.
