The Vryburg Independent Post Team (The VIP Team) has been made aware of an electrical fault that was reported to authorities late on Monday, 13 June 2022. The team is, however, unaware of the technicalities sounding the outage.

Eskom has indicated that no restoration time is available at this point. This as the power utility continues to work to resolve the electrical fault.

Huhudi residents are primarily affected by this fault. This at the back of a Sunday afternoon without electricity due to the exploding of a transformer that serves this particular community. The VIP Team is unaware of any relation to the two subsequent incidents.
