VRYBURG/HUHUDI — An eight-year-old girl is reported to have died following a drowning incident during the storm in Huhudi, as severe rainfall continues to cause flooding and disruption in parts of Vryburg.
Residents told The Vryburg Independent Post that a forensic services vehicle was seen in the area, where the child’s remains were collected. Community members living nearby claim the girl was trying to cross a flooded section of the road when the incident happened.
