Stage 1 loadshedding will be implemented at 4pm until midnight on Friday, 22 July 2022. According to a statement released by Eskom earlier on today, Loadshedding will then be suspended as the system has sufficiently recovered.

Areas that The VIP Team usually report on, as far as the loadshedding schedule is concerned, will mostly not be affected by stage 1 loadshedding tonight. The VIP Team has advised that a blackout will be implemented by Eskom from 4pm to 6pm in the Vryburg area and from 8pm to 10pm in the Bloemhof area.
