Eskom has warned that Stage 6 loadshedding will be implemented on Monday, 04 July 2022, in the afternoon, with varying stages of loadshedding implemented during the week.

The Vryburg Independent Post Team (The VIP Team) has included in this report a statement by the power utility, which clarifies details regarding which stage will be implemented, and when. (See Below Statement)

Statement:

According to the statement by Eskom , a great part of the off peak period is expected to be dominated by Eskom’s Stage 4 rolling blackouts. What is explicit from The VIP Team’s engagement with the announced schedule is that the Lekwa Teemane Areas might not be affected by stage 6 as scheduled for Monday. This is while the Naledi and the Kagisano Molopo areas are expected to experience its share of Stage 6 blackouts during early and late evening peak tomorrow.
