Award-winning South African artist Makhadzi has been involved in a car accident while travelling from Limpopo to Johannesburg on the morning of 31 December, her team has confirmed.

In a media statement issued by Makhadzi Entertainment, the singer is currently receiving medical care and remains in hospital. Her condition is described as stable, and she is under close observation by medical professionals.
