Eskom Ramps Up Loadshedding to Stage 4 on Wednesday Morning

Eskom will, from 9am on Wednesday, 09 March 2022, implement Stage 4 Loadshedding in South Africa. This announcement comes at the back of the implementation of stage 2 at the beginning of the week. The power entity’s announcement is brought on by the need to manage its emergency reserves.

Stage 4 Loadshedding is said to last until 5am on Friday, 11 March 2022, making way for Stage 2 loadshedding to make its return until 5am on Monday, 14 March 2022.
