If global trends are anything to go by, the COVID-19 cases are bound to increase in most countries, and South Africa is no acceptation. This is as Saturday, 25 April 2020, Minister of Health Dr. Zweli Mkhize announced an increase of 141 new coronavirus positive cases in South Africa. The North West Province, in this increased number, has reported 2 new cases. Bringing its total number of COVID-19 cases to 28.

In just 24 hours the novel coronavirus has claimed 7 lives in the country. “Today we are saddened to report 7 more deaths, making the total number of deaths 86.” Reported Minister Mkhize. 4 of the deaths are reported to be in the Eastern Cape, while 2 are in the Western Cape. Deaths are yet to be in the North West Province.
